CARMEL — Flyers are up all over Hamilton County for a missing dog that has made quite an impact, not just on his own family, but also on a lot of neighborhoods in Carmel.
Gus is a three-year-old English bulldog that disappeared nearly four weeks ago.
A lot of neighbors know him because of his skateboarding skills.
Gus was last seen October 14th near 146th Street and Carey Road in Carmel.
He has a microchip, but still hasn’t been found.
The Kiger family has left his dog bed and food bowl on their porch for weeks.
They’ve also created a Facebook page, an email account, flyers and a big reward in hopes of getting Gus back.
“We’re hoping some of that will get the word out,” said Jeremy Kiger, “and maybe somebody sees him somewhere or maybe somebody who has him and doesn’t know that he’s missing or hasn’t checked into whether he’s missing or not will see that and do the right thing and turn him in.”
The family says there has been a silver lining in all of this. While searching for their dog, they ended up helping find two other families’ missing bulldogs.
