WARSAW — A section of Bruner Road, Warsaw, just northeast of Palestine off of SR 25, has received long-term repairs after a section of the road washed out in July.

The road received only a temporary patch after torrential downpours. The temporary fix allowed residents to access their homes via the dead-end entrance. After months of wear on the repairs, large potholes were starting to form and had to be filled at least once during the waiting period.

Residents were notified that the road would be closed from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24. Residents were not able to enter or exit the street during that period of time. The road is now paved and ready for the winter. Three culverts were placed under the road through Robbins Ditch to handle any future heavy rainfalls.
