The following is a list of trick-or-treat times and Halloween events that Ink Free News has gathered from the community. To add an event to the list, please email all information to [email protected]

ATWOOD

  • The Atwood Fire Department will have the station open and be handing out goodies from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday Oct. 29.  The department will also have cookies and juice or hot chocolate depending on the weather.

BOURBON – The town’s trick-or-treat will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.

CLAYPOOL – The town’s trick-or-treat will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.

ETNA GREEN – The town’s trick-or-treat will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.

  • The Etna Green Lions Club is hosting a hayride and hot dogs night at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28. This is a free, family event.

LEESBURG – The town’s trick-or-treating will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.

  • The Tippy Creek Winery, 5920 North CR 200E, Leesburg, is hosting a Halloween Bash from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28. Prizes for best costume.

MENTONE – The town’s trick-or-treat will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31.

MILFORD – The town’s trick-or-treat will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.

  • Wawasee Community Bible Church, 2035 East CR1300 N, Milford,  will host a trunk-or-treat at 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28.

  • See pop culture icons celebrating anniversaries during ‘Lights Out at the Library!’ 6 p.m. to 8 pm. Tuesday, Oct. 31.

NAPPANEE – The town’s trick-or-treat will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.

  • The Harvest Party at the downtown pavilion will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.

NORTH WEBSTER – The town’s trick-or-treat will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.

  • The North Webster Church of God, 302 N. Main St., North Webster, is hosting a trunk-or-treat event from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28.
  • The North Webster Lions Club is hosting The A-Maz-ing Haunted House at the North Webster Lions Fairgrounds, 410 W. Washington St., North Webster, from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights, Oct. 27 and 28.
  • The American Legion Post 253, 756 S. SR 13, is hosting a Halloween celebration on Saturday, Oct. 28. Chili cook-off is from 6 p.m and costume contest for adults and kids is at 7 p.m. From 7-10 p.m. there will be entertainment by Cap’n Bob, the Dixie boat’s Singin’ Skipper.

  • Halloween Open House at North Webster Fire Department, 202 N. Main St., 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 31. Lots of candy and fun. Costume contest 7:45 p.m.

PIERCETON – The town’s trick-or-treat will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Oct. 31.

SILVER LAKE – The town’s trick-or-treat will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Oct. 31.

  • Monday, Oct. 30, the Silver Lake Lion’s Club is hosting a Halloween Party and Costume Contest beginning at 6:30 p.m., at the Silver Lake Conservation Building located at the Corner of Elm and Sycamore Streets. Cash prizes for children and adults.
  • Celebration Harvest is from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, at Silver Lake Station 2 (Old Fire Station) located at 104 N. Jefferson St. Get out of the chilly weather and enjoy refreshments, get a treat bag and sign up to win a family prize. The town will not be taking pictures this year, however a setting will be available for you to take your child’s photo.

SYRACUSE – The town’s trick-or-treat will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.

  • A free, fall carnival will be held at the Syracuse Community Center, 1013 N. Long Drive, Syracuse, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28.
  • The Syracuse Park’s Department and Wawasee HS Choir are holding The Haunted Thrill at Crosson Mill, Veteran’s Memorial Park at Crosson Mill, Syracuse, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Oct. 27, 28 and 31.
  • The Syracuse Eagles is hosting a trunk-or-treat from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28.  Dress your kids up in costumes, candy and treats for kids up to the age of 12.  From 5-8 p.m., chili and hot dogs will be available.  The Nashville Rebels will be providing entertainment from 7-10 p.m. 

  • Syracuse Public Library is hosting a Halloween Carnival from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31. People are encouraged to come in costume to play carnival games and get candy.
  • Syracuse Fire Department will be handing out candy from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31 at Fire Station 1, North Huntington Street (SR 13).

  • Rose Home North, 72876 CR 29, Syracuse, is hosting Boo Fest from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29.

WARSAW – The town’s trick-or-treat will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31

  • Downtown Warsaw’s Spooktacular will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27.
  • Warsaw Meadows, 300 E Prairie St, Warsaw, is hosting a community trick-or-treat from 6:30 until 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27.
  • Redeemer Warsaw, 1720 E. Center St., Warsaw, will be hosting a trunk-or-treat event from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28.
  • New Creation Fellowship, 315 N. Cedar St, is hosting a fall block party from 1 to 3 p.m. On Saturday, Oct. 28. This is a free, family friendly event with bounce house, hayrides, games and food.
  • Warsaw Church Of God, 1059 Rozella Road, is hosting a Holy Ghost Weenie Roast from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Oct. 28. The event will include hot dogs, candy, costumes, and trick-or-treating.
  • Ryman’s Auto Connection is hosting a trunk or treat event from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. There will be face painting, games, cotton candy and other free goodies.
  • Wagon Wheel Junior is proud to present “I Want My Mummy Returns!” at 2 p.m. Oct. 28 and Oct. 29. The event also includes the Not-So-Haunted-House in the lobby before each show.  Kids and adults are welcome to dress up for the shows.  

WINONA LAKE – The town’s trick-or-treat will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31

  • Grace College will be hosting its annual FunFest from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27. At FunFest, children will enjoy face painting, bouncy houses, food and games. This year’s theme is Disney.The event is free and open to all children and their families.
  • A free, Halloween-themed 5k run will be held at the Winona Lake trails at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29.
