Helen Mae Fingerle, 87, North Manchester, died at 11:11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, at her home. She was born May 13, 1930 in Liberty Mills, to Jacob and Ethel Eliza (Renicker) Frantz.

Helen married Chester A. Fingerle at her home in Liberty Mills, on Jan. 24, 1948. She was a homemaker and a member of the North Manchester Old German Baptist Brethren Church.

She is survived by her husband, Chester A. Fingerle of North Manchester; five children, Richard Duane (Susan) Fingerle of Burlington, James Allen (Tammy) Fingerle of Pierceton, Gary Dean Fingerle of North Manchester, Cheryl Ann (Donald) Ganger of New Paris, and Norma Jean Fingerle of North Manchester; nine grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; and her brother, Robert Frantz of North Manchester. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 26 at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, North Manchester, Indiana. Burial will be in the Old German Baptist Brethren Church Cemetery, North Manchester. Friends may call 2-4 and 6- 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the church. Arrangements are handled by Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, North Manchester.
