
WARSAW — At 11:15 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, Warsaw Fire and Lutheran EMS were dispatched to a an accident on SR 15 just north of CR 350N, Warsaw.
Nicholas Reinhard, 27, Markle, was driving a grain truck owned by Marshall Grain Transport LLC southbound on SR 15. Reinhard rear-ended a Kia Sedona being driven by Rosalie Hernandez, 42, Warsaw. The vehicle was stopped at a red light.
Hernandez had to be extricated from her vehicle and was transported to Ft. Wayne Lutheran Hospital. The investigating officer spoke to Hernandez at her home the next day; Hernandez sustained significant bruising to her chin, jaw and legs.
The collision pushed the Sedona into a truck driven by Douglas L. Davis, 55, Warsaw. Davis’s vehicle was subsequently pushed into a government-issued postal vehicle driven by Steven E. Maes, 61, Granger.
No other injuries were reported.
