INDIANAPOLIS — Earthlings, rejoice! The Uranus will be visible all over the world tonight — no special glasses needed.
The icy planet will sit opposite the sun and make its closest approach to Earth. This formation will create a straight line among the Sun, the Earth and Uranus, with the Earth positioned between the other two.
The 7th planet from the sun will be visible all night, but specifically from 8:47 pm to 6:11 am for Hoosiers, according to In-The-Sky.org.
The planet will appear bright and blue green in color.
Tonight’s forecast calls for clear skies, so the Uranus should be visible with the naked eye, NASA reports. But if not, it will definitely be visible with binoculars.
