The end of the road for the Warsaw Tigers boys soccer team was found Saturday at the Kokomo Boys Soccer Regional, where the Tigers were defeated by Lafayette Harrison.

Eric Ocock gave Warsaw a stunning 1-0 lead in the 50th minute on a penalty kick conversion over the No. 3-ranked team in the state. The Raiders would come back 12 minutes later to knot the score at one, and neither team would budge from there. After a pair of overtime sessions, the score was still tied, and in the dreaded penalty kick shootout, Harrison’s Calvin Walters made stops on each of Warsaw’s first two attempts. The Raiders would make all three of their tries to bounce Warsaw from the state tournament.

The second game of the regional saw Hamilton Southeastern defeat Fort Wayne Northrop 4-1. In the final, Harrison moves on with a 2-2 (3-1 shootout) victory over the Royals.
