Kay E. Fisher, 69, of Bourbon, Ind., and formerly of Nappanee, Ind., died at 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at her daughter’s residence.

She was born Dec. 21, 1943, to William and Lovina (Hochstetler) Stutzman. She married John A. Fisher on June 17, 1972, in Elkhart, Ind. He preceded in death March 14, 2009.

Kay worked in Data Entry at Kinder in Elkhart and Stellite Coatings in Goshen, Ind. She attended Nappanee Missionary Church. Kay loved being a mom and grandma. She enjoyed computers, technology and loved birds.

Surviving are daughters: Michelle “Shelley” (Kevin) VanderMolen, Melbourne, Fla.; Dawn (Steve) Baxter, Bourbon; a son: Edward (Beatrice) Fisher, Elkhart; stepdaughters: Rose (Don) Butler, Lisa Wessler, both of Goshen; stepsons: Jerry (Shari) Fisher, Elkhart; Scott Fisher, South Bend, Ind.; several grandchildren; and a brother: Ray Stutzman, Mentone, Ind.

She was preceded in death sister: Lora Stutzman.

Family and friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 23, at Nappanee Missionary Church. Officiating will be Pastors Justin Lamison and Norm Reimer. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County or Marshall County Hospice.
