Oscar L. Robinson, 86, Mentone (Palestine), Indiana passed at 8:00 am, Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 at his residence.

He was born on Aug. 12, 1931 in Audrain County, Mo. to Al Newton and Bertie Ellen (Mundy) Robinson.

He married on Nov. 5, 1955 in Warsaw to Emma Gooch, who preceded on Dec. 25, 2004.

Oscar was a maintenance man at Wabash Valley Manufacturing of Silver Lake.

He is survived by his daughter, Carol (Don) Prater, Mentone; grandchildren: Jason Francis, Nathaniel Myers, Hanna Girouard and Anthony Myers.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Emma, as well as 12 siblings.

A time of visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, at King Memorial Home, Mentone; The Service will follow at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 11, also at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Palestine Cemetery.
