WARSAW — A Warsaw man elbowed a female victim in the face while at a public park and broke her nose.

Ryan Eugene Disney, 26, 5818 West CR 200S, Warsaw, is being charged with domestic battery resulting in serious bodily injury, a level 5 felony; domestic battery with a child present, a level 6 felony; and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.

On Sept. 20, an officer with the Warsaw Police Department responded to a domestic battery complaint at Kosciusko Community Hospital. The officer spoke with an ER nurse who advised the victim had a broken nose.

According to the victim, she was at the Rarick Park in Warsaw with Disney and three children. Disney and the female got into a verbal argument. While arguing, Disney elbowed her in the face while the children were present.

Disney was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Oct. 5 with a $11,000 surety and cash bond.
