SYRACUSE — Syracuse Redevelopment Commission met Wednesday, Sept. 27, to hold a public hearing regarding a tax increment finance district for the Syracuse Technology Park. There were no remonstrators against establishing the TIF district at the public hearing.

The commission then approved a confirmatory resolution simply stating the TIF district is now in place. Copies of the resolution will be sent to the Elkhart and Koscuisko County Recorders and Assessors offices, as well as the Department of Local Government Finance in Indianapolis.

Travel Lite RV, which purchased a large parcel in the park earlier this summer, is still working on permits to construct its new manufacturing complex in the park.
