CARMEL – Ten members of the Lakeview Middle School cross country team participated in the Indiana State Middle School Cross Country Meet at the Northview Church course on Saturday.

The duo of Rylee Burns and Edward Robison were the top finishers for the Lakeview harriers. Burns clocked in with a time of 12:21.2 and Robison finished in 11:15.0 as both placed in the top 100 of their respective races.

Also competing in the girls’ race for Lakeview were Mikayla Mimnaugh, who finished in 12:46.2 and Kiersten Parker who turned in a new personal best time of 13:03.1.

The boys’ race also had Lakeview runners Levi Perry (11:27.1), David Howard (11:37.7), Garrett Hall (12:09.3), Jose Velazquez (12:13.0), Carlos Velazquez (12:19.1) and Bryce Duncan (13:15.9) compete.

The girls race had over 600 runners and the boys event more than 700 competitors.

Lakeview will compete in the NELMSC Conference Meet Tuesday night at Camp Crosley in North Webster. Admission is $4.
