Officers with Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

1:13 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, Circle Drive North and Circle Drive East, Warsaw. Driver: Michael F. Mark, 47, North CR 400W, Laporte. Mark advised that he had made a delivery to a business on Circle Drive in Warsaw. As he was leaving, the power lines on the south side of the road were lower than on the north side, and the front right side of his semi trailer caught the lines and pulled the utility pole, causing the pole to snap. Damage up to $2,500.

Kosciusko

Officers with Kosciusko Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

12:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, South Huntington Street, Syracuse. Drivers: James D. Cooper, 66, West Orange Street, Cromwell, and Pamela S. Nickels, 61, North Acorn Drive, Syracuse. The vehicles backed into each other as both were exiting parking spaces. Damage up to $2,500.
