Rhonda J. Rouch, 59, Plymouth passed away peacefully at 5:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Plymouth.
Rhonda was born on Dec. 28, 1957, in the Naval hospital in Portsmouth, Va. to Jud and Betty (Bottorff) Rouch. Rhonda has been a resident of the Plymouth area for the past ten years. She is a graduate of West Lafayette High School, Ivy Tech in South Bend and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Rhonda was a high school science teacher while living in Arkansas. Rhonda enjoyed belonging to the Red Hat’s Society; she was also a member of the Marshall County Good Sams Club. Rhonda attended the House of Prayer United Pentecostal Church and the 1st United Church of Christ in Plymouth.
Those left to cherish Rhonda’s memory are her parent’s, Jud and Betty Rouch of Culver; her sister’s, Ellen Rouch of Atlanta, Ga.; Marilyn VanLieshout of Green Bay, Wisc.; her brother, Sid Rouch of El Paso, Texas; one nephew; one niece and one great niece; Rhonda is preceded in passing by her paternal grandparents, Clarence and Mary Jane Rouch and her maternal grandparents, Alan and Norma Bottorff.
The Van Gilder Funeral Home is honored to be caring for the Rouch family. A funeral service will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the House of Prayer United Pentecostal Church 12450 Ply-Goshen Trail Plymouth, IN 46563 on Monday, Sept. 25, with Pastor Nathaniel Haner officiating. Burial will be on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 10 a.m. in the Burr Oak Cemetery.
A time of visiting with the Rouch family will be held 5-6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25 in the House of Prayer United Pentecostal Church.
