LCA Volleyball: Canterbury Outlasts LCA

WINONA LAKE – Lakeland Christian Academy took Fort Wayne Canterbury to the limit, but couldn’t pull out a five-set thriller. LCA rallied from two games down to force a fifth, but lost 15-10 in the rubber match. Canterbury won game one and two 25-17, 25-21 and LCA claimed the next two 25-21, 25-18.
Carlie Wise helped turn the tide for the Cougars, registering seven kills in the third game. Wise added seven digs and four aces in the contest.
Baylee Wiley had nine kills, Cami Dahms added eight kills and five aces, Kenzie Burns had seven digs and six kills, Heather Plastow had 13 digs and Kyla Kohler had 29 assists.
LCA moves to 6-8 on the season and will next play Saturday in the Calumet Christian Invite.
