
WARSAW — The Greater Warsaw Ministerial Association has designated this Sunday, Sept. 24, as Hunger Awareness Sunday. Churches, individuals and organizations are encouraged to take a moment to pray for those in need around the world who face hunger issues and the recent areas affected by Hurricanes and to support with financial gifts.
The 33rd Annual Kosciusko Crop Hunger Walk will be held at The Salvation Army, 501 E. Arthur St., Warsaw, with registration beginning at 1 and the walk at 1:30 p.m. Donations from the walk will support Church World Service and The Salvation Army. Relief is given around the world by both organizations and The Salvation Army operates a Choice Pantry that assists 200 families or more with food, diapers and non-food items. For donations of in-kind items or more information call (574) 268-7697.
