Triton SportsBOURBON – The Triton High School Athletic Department announced this evening that its football game at Pioneer has been moved to Thursday night.

The change was made so that the contest would not conflict with visitation services at Triton Friday night for Cameron Scarberry. Scarberry, a junior at Triton and a member of the football team, died in a one-car accident on Sunday afternoon near Atwood.

The Hoosier North Athletic Conference game Thursday night will kick-off at 6:30 p.m.  in Royal Center.

Pioneer, which was the Class 1-A state runner-up in 2016, is ranked No. 1 in Class 1-A and is 5-0 on the season. Triton is 4-1 on the season. Both teams are undefeated in conference play.

Visitation services for Scarberry, who was also a member of the Triton wrestling team, will be held from 5-9 p.m. Friday in the Triton High School Auditorium. His funeral will take place Saturday at 11 a.m., also in the THS Auditorium.
