SOUTH WHITLEY – For the first time in program history, Whitko took on Fort Wayne Wayne and found the challenge to be daunting. The Generals weren’t in an accommodating mood in a 10-0 girls soccer win Monday evening.

Arianna Bradshaw and April Salazar both recorded hat tricks to lead the Generals. Morgan Wolff, Gladys Donis, Kara Gerber and Kayla Bunkowske all had single goals. Bradshaw added a pair of assists while Bunkowske and Salazar both notched a helper.

Wayne outshot Whitko 27-5, and forced Stephanie Baughman into 12 saves.

Whitko (1-10) will play Manchester Wednesday.
