Rex G. Pegg, 68, passed away at 7 a.m. in his Wabash home on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017.  He was born on Sept. 11, 1948 in Winchester, Ind. to Jay C. & Dorothy L. (Hodson) Pegg.

Rex married Karen S. (Shewman) Pegg on Jan. 21, 1967.  He was a retired farmer and a member of Grace Fellowship Church, Wabash.

Along with his wife, Karen, Rex is survived by children, David (Kim) Pegg, Jennifer Cole, Doug (Genea) Pegg and Eric (Shelly) Pegg all of Wabash; grandchildren, Abbie (Zach) Wright, Peru, Ind., Andy (Tanarea) Pegg, Jake (Kristen) Pegg, Derek Pegg, Alex Pegg and Emily Cole all of Wabash and Tricia Pegg of Kokomo; great-grandchildren, Hudson and Hartlee Wright, Peru, Colt Pegg, Rex Pegg, Carter Pegg, Reese Pegg, Iley Pegg all of Wabash, Lailah Young of Kokomo, Indiana and he has one great-grandchild on the way; siblings, Linda (Baxter) Burch, Sarasota, Florida, Dana (Pam) Pegg, Marion, Ind., and Lisa (David) Kaufman, Muncie, Ind.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Dorothy Pegg.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14, at Grace Fellowship Church, 4652 S. 100 W., Wabash, with burial following at Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Pastor Rick Harrison will be the officiant.
