Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

5:53 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 301 Kings Highway, Warsaw. Driver: Gabriel O. Popoola, 33, North Parker St., Warsaw. Popoola’s vehicle slid on wet pavement and struck a large rock off the side of the business’s driveway. Damage up to $10,000.

Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

6:33 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, South CR 1000W, north of West CR 500S, Mentone. Driver: Jonathan S. Hopkins, 22, North SR 14, Akron. Hopkins’ vehicle suffered a malfunction while driving over railroad tracks, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. The vehicle went down into a ditch and struck a tree. Damage up to $10,000.
