Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

8:19 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 7638 West CR 300N, Etna Green. Driver: Mabin Sturgeon, 67, CR 950S, Markleville. Sturgeon’s travel trailer struck a parked vehicle. Damages up to $5,000. 

12:16 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, Old Road 30 and CR 800W, Warsaw. Driver: Phillip Frauhiger, 29, Hoffer Road, Warsaw. Frauhiger struck a deer. Damages up to $5,000. 

5:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, Old Road 15 and CR 600N, Leesburg. Driver: Terry Masterson, 37, Lincoln Street, Warsaw. Masterson’s vehicle left the roadway to avoid a deer and struck a utility pole. Damages up to $5,000. 

9:57 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, US 30 and North CR 350W, Warsaw. Driver: Valerie Deutsch, 27, Glencairn Drive, Fort Wayne. Deutsch struck a deer. Damages up to $10,000. 

4:48 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, Syracuse Webster Road and East CR 1000N, Syracuse. Driver: Daryle Smith, 23, Huntington Street, Syracuse. Smith’s tire blew, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and strike a fence. Damages up to $10,000. 

11:48 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, McClintic Road and Skyline Drive, Syracuse. Driver: BJ Odea, 28, Columbia City. Odea misjudged a curve and traveled into a ditch. Damages up to $10,000. 

12:48 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 3, SR 15 and CR 350N, Warsaw. Drivers: Brian Stouder, 38, EMS B64 Lane, Warsaw, and Troy Haines, 49, West Street, Milford. Stouter attempted to stop at an intersection but couldn’t and struck Haines’ vehicle. Damages up to $5,000. 

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

8:48 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, Argonne Road and Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Karin Shortt, 54, Auditorium Drive, Winona Lake,  and Alexis Lyon, 23, Plumm Road, Lenexa Kansas. Shortt rear ended Lyon’s vehicle while stopped at a traffic light. Damages up to $50,000. 

North Webster

Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:

12:49 a.m. Monday, Sept. 4, 730 South Main St., North Webster. Drivers: Terri Wagoner, 60, CR 950E, North Webster, and William Griewank, 68, High Street, Lagrange. Wagoner collided with Griewank’s vehicle in the parking lot. Damages up to $2,500.
