Triton Tennis: Trojans Fall At Sectional Rival Plymouth

Triton SportsPLYMOUTH — Triton tennis took one on the chin in a 5-0 road loss to sectional rival Plymouth Wednesday evening.

The closest matches came at one singles, where Carter Kuntz took four games from Plymouth’s Tommy Holloway before falling 3-1, and one doubles, where Keygan Mosier and Chase Butler took four from Clay Hillard and Adam Hunter only to fall 1-3. Trevor Miller fell 1-2 to Andy Rostron at three singles, and Tyler Heckaman and Jared Bules fell 2-0 to Shaun Frantz and Bo Meadors at two doubs. John Gardner suffered a 0-0 loss to Mitch Rose at two singles for the Trojans (5-4) at Plymouth (4-4).

Triton’s junior varsity was also swept 6-0 in the JV matches Wednesday.

Triton is right back in action Thursday at Whitko.
