Summer is winding down, but there is still plenty to do at Warsaw Community Public Library.

  • Make a feather tree with Sally Reuter at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5. Register.
  • Drop-in Zone is at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, for teens and 5:45 p.m. for adults.
  • Off the Shelf reading group discusses, “The Kite Runner,” at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7.
  • The Lake City Piecemakers quilt group meets at 9:15 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8. Chess club meets from 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
  • The Cookbook Club will share squash recipes at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11. Join the Knit and Purl Club at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11.
  • The writer’s club meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, to discuss, “Work in the Future,” “Harvest” and “Friendships.”
  • Computer Clinics at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, and 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27.
  • Creative Canvas begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13. Create a wood “Welcome” sign. Register.
  • New release movies are 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13; 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16; 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19 and 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23. Call or go online for movie titles.
  • Board Game Club gathers at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, followed by Scrabble Club at noon the same day.
  • Steve Zorn, Personal Safety Unlimited, teaches another FAST Defense lesson. This class builds on the previous two but is still relevant to first-time attendees. Register.
  • Hooked on Crochet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19. Beginning crocheters can come for a lesson in creating a dishcloth.
  • The Warsaw Artists Forum meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, to share their work and critique.
  • Jackie Franks, Kosciusko County Purdue Extension, teaches about family resource management at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20. Register.
  • Sue Delagrange returns at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, to share the health benefits of vinegars and oils.
  • Faith Ketterer will lead Card Making at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25. Register.
  • Gather at the Kosciusko County Y at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, for “Talk About It Tuesdays.” September’s book is, “Get Up! Why Your Chair is Killing You.” Register at WCPL.
  • Rachel Kruger will teach participants how to make a needle felted pumpkin house at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26. Register.
  • Learn the how-to’s of antique art appraisal at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27. Register.
  • Make and take a painted towel, tote or T-shirt at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27. Register.
