ELKHART – The NorthWood boys tennis team picked up a 5-0 win over Elkhart Central Wednesday evening.

Wes Troyer led the way for the Panthers with a 6-1, 7-6 (7-5) win on the No. 1 singles court.

NorthWood also got singles wins from Landon Holland and Jack Wysong. Holland notched a 6-4, 1-6, 7-5 win at No. 2, while Wysong prevailed 7-5, 6-3 at No. 3.

The duo of Jared Hoffman and Brant Mast won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 1 doubles action. The team of Trevor Klotz and Trajan Schwartz posted a 7-5, 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles.

Central won the junior varsity match 5-3. Winners for the Panthers were Chase Horner and Dawson Bley in singles action and the doubles team of Grant Topping and Horner.

NorthWood (1-1) returns to action Saturday in the DeKalb Invitational.
