Winona Lake police department investigated the following accidents:

12:03 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, South McKinley Street and East Market Street, Winona Lake. Drivers: Ting R. Zhen, 74, East Hawthorn Drive, Warsaw, and Joseph A. Abbott, 62, North Cheyenne Drive, Warsaw. Zhen stopped past a stop sign and attempted to back up. Abbott did not have a stop sign and was unable to avoid a collision with Zhen, who was in the middle on the intersection. A female passenger in Zhen’s vehicle was transported for chest pain. Damage up to $50,000.

6:51 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7, East CR 700N and North CR 200E, Leesburg. Driver: Alexis M. Potts, 22, East Market Street, Warsaw. Potts believed the vehicle in front of her was turning right and Potts attempted pass the vehicle on the left. The vehicle turned left and Potts veered off of the road to avoid a collision. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

5:24 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, East Center Street, East of North McKinley Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Justin M. Deslauri, 19, Cherry Court, Hebron, and Nikola Blazic, 26, 13th Street, Winona Lake. A spider in Deslauri’s vehicle distracted him and he rear ended Balzic. Damage up to $5,000.

9:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 1811 Bay View Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Luis Duenas, 21, Bay View Drive, Warsaw. Duenas had replaced the battery in his vehicle. Upon starting the vehicle, Duenas was unaware the vehicle was in first gear and the vehicle jumped forward and into a recessed patio. Damage up to $25,000.

7:52 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7, East Center Street, west of South Scott Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Scott P. Schloss, 24, Chamberlin Drive, Warsaw, and April M. Eberly, 37, West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Schloss rear-ended Eberly at a light. Damage up to $5,000.

11:08 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7, SR 15, south of East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Anita G. Gest, 53, North Old Farm Road, Warsaw, and Sherry L. Chapman, 59, East CR 550S, Warsaw. Best rear-ended Chapman. Damage up to $5,000.

2:16 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, North SR 15, south of Gilliam Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Issiac Howard-Mitchell, 16, Pine Cone Lane, Warsaw, and Ashley N. McBroom, 19, West CR 400N, Warsaw. Howard-Mitchell sideswiped the passenger front side of McBroom’s vehicle when he switched lanes. Damage up to $2,500.

3:33 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, US 30, east of Meijer Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Chad M. Raby, 31, West Mishawaka Avenue, Mishawaka, and David L. Mikel, 71, West CR 75N, Etna Green. Baby rear ended Mikel. Damage up to $5,000.

1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2211 East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Shalena Brady, 25, Sophie Lane, Warsaw, and Kayla Heckaman, 26, East Clark Street, Warsaw. Heckaman had just finished backing out of a parking spot at Owen’s when she was struck by Brady who was actively backing from a spot. Damage up to $2,500.

Kosciusko

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

11:54 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, South Country Club Road, south of East Winona Beach Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Ty R. Shepler, 48, South Julian Drive, Warsaw. A dog in the vehicle distracted Shepler, causing him to run off of the road. The vehicle side swiped a NIPSCO utility pole and continued into a wooded area before striking a tree. Damage up to $10,000.

8:26 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, South CR 950W and West CR 100S, Warsaw. Drivers: Victoria Hernandez-Flores, 32, West Old Road 30, Warsaw, and Chase Bice, 25, State Road 106, Bremen. Hernandez-Flores ran a stop sign and collided with Bice. Damage up to $50,000.
