WARSAW — On Saturday, Aug. 5, the 19th Annual Barbee Lakes Ship of Fools Pirate Party Scavenger Hunt was hosted by Jeff and Jennifer Garr, Mike Lawless, Don Swank and Kassie Tennant.

There were 14 boats filled with over 100 captain and crew members who participated.

The day ended with a Pirate Carnival.  Local business owners donated prizes to support the community cause. In addition, the generous attendees raised $605 dollars along with over 300 canned goods and boxed food items to benefit the Tippecanoe Township (North Webster) Food Pantry.

The Barbee Lakes Property Owners Association would like to publicly thank the pirate contributors and sponsors including Adrift BBQ, Danny’s Sports Bar, King’s Keg, Lance’s New Market, Post 253 American Legion and The River Coffee House.
