The Tippecanoe Valley girls golf team went 1-1 in a non-conference triangular Monday.

Pioneer posted a team total of 268, while the Vikings came in at 295. Caston did not field a complete team.

Makayla Sandbakken led the way for Valley with a 59.

Jordan Krotke finished with a 69, while Bethany Johnson had a 77 and Kelsey Shafer a 90 for the Vikings.

Valley returns to action today versus Peru and Northwestern. The Vikings then face host Northfield on Thursday.
