Larry L. Sutton, 66, Akron, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017, at his residence.

On Feb. 18, 1951, Larry Lee Sutton was born. He was the treasured son of  Irvin G. and Marjorie M. Nicodemus Sutton. He was a lifetime resident of the Akron community and was well known for his abilities as a mechanic.  Larry also enjoyed his passion of agriculture as a farmer.

Left to cherish his memory are children: Mary Kovel of Ariz.; Ralph Kovel of Mich.; and Terry Kovel of Fla.; an aunt: Mary Day of Roann; close friend: David Hill, who was like a son; and special neighbors Allen Smith and Brian Abbott and his cherished canine companion: Sammy the yellow lab.

Preceding Larry in death are his parents.

Public graveside services for Larry Lee Sutton will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 8 in the Athens- Hoover Cemetery. Pastor Kyle Schnitz  will officiate. The Good Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
