NAPPANEE — The following events will take place at the Nappanee Public Library:

MERMAID WEEK

Aug. 14-18 | During library hours | Ages 12 and under

Can’t make it to our scheduled story times? Then drop in during library hours to celebrate Mermaid Week. Each day a variety of splashy tales will be available to enjoy along with a project or activity. While supplies last. No registration necessary.

RECIPE SWAP

Aug. 14 | 7-8 p.m. | Adult

Exchange recipes and collect new favorites in this monthly program. Submit recipes one week in advance and bring a dish to share. August is“pot luck”, so you decide what to bring. Register by Aug. 7, by calling (574) 773-7919 or visit  here.

TEEN MEET UP

Aug. 15 | 2-4 p.m. | Teen

Catch up with friends before school starts back up. Come to the teen meet-up to hang out, listen to music, use our WiFi and just be yourself. Yummy food will be provided. Register by Aug. 8, by calling (574) 773-7919 or visit the library’s website.

COVER TO COVER BOOK CLUB

Aug. 15 | 6:30-8 p.m. | Adult

Titles alternate between fiction and non-fiction. Join the club this August to read and discuss the book “The Princess in the Tower” by Alison Weir. For more information or to reserve a copy of the book, see any service desk, or call (574) 773.7919. No registration necessary.

MAH JONGG

Aug. 16 | 12:30-3 p.m. | Adult

The library is hosting its regular Mah Jongg game on Wednesdays from 12:30 – 3 p.m. throughout the month of August. No experience or registration is necessary, come to learn the game and have fun.

LEGO CLUB

Aug. 17| 6:30-8 p.m. | Age 5 and up

Families are invited to join us for Lego Club. Enjoy building challenges and win prizes. This month build futuristic buildings then the meeting ends with free build time. No registration necessary.
