Mary Oldham, Warsaw, and Betty Dotson, Warsaw, work on blankets during the Pay It Forward craft event at Warsaw Community Public Library Wednesday, July 26.

WARSAW — Wednesday, July 26, at the Warsaw Community Public Library, the Pay It Forward craft event was held. The free event allowed participants to make two crafts – one to take home and another to be donated to a local charity.

Tables were set up with supplies to make blankets, chew toys, sun catchers and door hangers. The blankets and chew toys will be delivered to the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County while the door hangers and sun catchers will be taken to area nursing homes.

Pay It Forward Crafts is just one of many free events offered at the library.

On Friday, Aug. 4, WCPL will be hosting the Build a Better World block party, a summer block party for all ages with special activities, ice cream, a book sale, 501st Legion Star Wars characters in costume, escape room games and more.

Check out the events calendar on the library site for more information about this and other upcoming programs and events.
