Barbara Sue Crothers, 80, Bremen passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at Bremen Hospital.

She was born on Nov. 29, 1936 to Richard and Veloice (Mitchell) Whitsel in Bremen. Barbara graduated from Bremen High School and was a lifelong resident of Bremen. She was also artistic, and loved to paint. Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by her family.

She is survived by her four children: Timothy (Marilyn) O’Connor, Lori Malcolm, Cathy Brown, and Luann Criddle; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen (Keith) Bellman and Kathleeen DeLong. She was proceeded in death by two siblings, Robert Whitsel and Marcia Osterbur.

A memorial service in honor or Barbara will be held in Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen at a later date. Pastor Neil Wonnacott will officiate and burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery.
