ST. LOUIS, MO. — A car crashed through the roof of a St. Louis, Missouri home Sunday.

The St. Louis Fire Department responded to the call around 1 p.m. local time.

In a video posted to the department’s Facebook page, aerial footage of the home reveals an SUV lodged in the collapsed roof.

The driver was rescued from the car and flown to a nearby hospital, the post said.

No one was in the house at the time of the accident, KMOV reported.

The collision occurred when the SUV sped so fast that upon hitting an embankment, it launched into the air “like something out of a Hollywood movie,” The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
