Kathyrn Knisley, 83, Syracuse, passed away on July 8, 2017 at Goshen Hospital.

She was born on Dec. 15, 1933 in Chicago, Ill. to Herman and Ruth (Sloan) Huey.

On April 13, 1952 she married Kenneth R. Knisley who survives. She was a lifetime and Emirita member of Lakeland Woman’s Bowling Association.

She had been employed by General Telephone, Wawasee Bowl, Thornburg Drugs, First Federal of Wabash, and Pamida.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth R. Knisley of Syracuse; three sons: Kevin Knisley of Bristol; Dana (Gloria) Knisley of Syracuse; and Brian (Sarah) Knisley of Syracuse; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; sister: Wanda (William) Patrick of Mississippi.

She was preceded by her daughter Dixie, three brothers and one sister.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 15 at the Eastlund Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Cox officiating.  Calling will be two hours prior from 2-4.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Goshen Hospice or the Dollars for Scholars.
