KOSCIUSKO — The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Kosciusko, Elkhart, Whitley, Fulton and Marshall counties until 10 a.m. today, July 10.

At 9:20 a.m., severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Lakeville to near Mentone to near Rochester, moving east at 50 mph. The storm includes 60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. Expect damage to roofs, siding and trees.

Locations impacted include Warsaw, Nappanee, Rochester, Winona Lake, Bremen, Syracuse, Bourbon, South Whitley, Milford, Akron, North Webster, Pierceton, Mentone, New Paris, Locke, Tippecanoe, Etna Green, Leesburg, Claypool and Larwill.
