Warsaw —  On Wednesday, July 12 the Kosciusko Community YMCA, both the Parkview Warsaw branch and the North Webster branch, will be offering free admission to anyone who brings in a donation of a toiletry item including toothbrushes, disposable razors and travel sized toothpaste, soap, shampoo and conditioner.  Admission is good for one person.

The toiletry items will be put together by the summer camp into emergency hygiene kits that World Compassion Network can use in disaster relief situations.

Those who come in with a donation for the free day will also receive a coupon for $25 off the joiner’s fee when they bring in 5 non-perishable food items before the end of July.  For more information contact the Y at (574) 269-9622.

Keep in mind that there is a detour to get to the YMCA.  Drivers will need to head west on US 30, turn right on CR 200N, right onto Husky Trail and right onto North Point Drive before being able to turn right on Mariners Drive and enter the YMCA entrance.

The Y is the leading nonprofit committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.  All the efforts and offerings of the Kosciusko Community YMCA are guided by the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Every day, the Y works side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure everyone regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.  In 2016, the Kosciusko Community YMCA provided $191,009 in financial assistance to make sure that happens.
