Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

8:48 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, East CR 550N and North CR 100E, Leesburg. Drivers: Chelcie L. Kieler, 30, East Magill Court, Syracuse, and Larry D. Phillips, 57, South Phillips Street, Warsaw. Kieler was eastbound on CR 550N approaching CR 100E as Phillips was driving a double axle trailer northbound on CR 100E. Kieler was driving too fast along the curve. When she saw Phillips she started to slow down but was unable to avoid hitting the trailer. Damage up to $10,000.

9:52 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, East CR 1100N and North CR 250E, Milford. Driver: Noelle G. Gagnon, 17, Armstrong Road, Leesburg. Gagnon struck a deer. Damage up to $2,500.
