WINONA LAKE — Traffic delays, restrictions and road closures should be expected for some areas of Winona Lake due to the Optimist Triathlon from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 24.

Pierceton Road/Packerton Road will be closed to all traffic. Drivers can travel Packerton Road to CR 225S West to
Country Club Road.

Pierceton Road/CR 250E will be closed to all traffic. For an alternate route to Packerton Road use Wooster Road to Kings Highway, West to Winona Avenue to Smith Street, South on Country Club Road to CR 225S East to Packerton Road.

Kings Hwy/Wooster Road will allow no through traffic to Pierceton Road.

Should drivers find themselves on the race course, maintain the lane of travel. Do not attempt to overtake or pass any of the racers as soon as possible exit the course on a side street.

There will be numerous race officials, firemen and officers volunteering to help make this a safe event. Watch for them and follow their direction.
