Elizabeth Ann Croop, 94, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 5:10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Aug. 21, 1918, in Leesburg, Ind., to Edith Belle Anglin. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County.
On Oct. 26, 1940, in Warsaw, she was united in marriage to Forrest J. Croop who preceded her Dec. 31, 1999. She was a homemaker and a member of the Leesburg United Methodist Church, Alumni Chapter of Delta Theta Tau and Mother’s Study Club. She was a gentle and kindhearted soul who thought of others before her and she dearly loved her family.
Survivors include daughters: Linda Lee Croop and Nancy Delph, both of Warsaw; a grandson: Shane Lee Delph, Warsaw; and a great-grandson: Kaymen Delph, Warsaw.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a sister: Marilyn Hartman; a son-in-law: Virgil Delph; and her stepfather: Hugh McCann.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Services will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Chaplain Bob Jarboe will officiate the services. Interment will be in Leesburg Cemetery.
