WABASH —  The Honeywell Center Educational Outreach Program, now in its 19th year, provides arts-in-education opportunities to students in preschool through twelfth grade. In 2016, the program served 10 counties in Northeast Indiana with more than 49,000 student interactions.  Since 2002, Duke Energy has been an outstanding partner for the program. Duke Energy funding helps bring EOP to Cass, Fulton, Grant, Howard, Huntington, Kosciusko, Miami, Wabash and Whitley county school systems.

“There are a lot of budget demands on schools today, and the Honeywell Center program brings arts experiences to education that might not otherwise happen,” Kevin said. “We are glad to help make that happen.”

Duke Energy Indiana’s operations provide about 6,800 megawatts of owned electric capacity to approximately 820,000 customers in a 23,000-square-mile service area, making it the state’s largest electric supplier. The Duke Energy Foundation provides philanthropic support to address the needs of the communities where its customers live and work. The foundation provided approximately $2 million in charitable gifts to Indiana organizations in 2016.

The Honeywell Foundation is a public charity in Wabash. The organization and its venues – Honeywell Center, Honeywell House, Charley Creek Gardens, Dr. Ford Historic Home, Eagles Theatre and 13-24 Drive In – provide artistic, social, cultural and recreational opportunities for all.
