MENTONE — There’s still time to head to Mentone this afternoon, Saturday, June 3, and have some fun during the final day of the Mentone Egg Festival, sponsored by the Mentone Chamber of Commerce.

Later this afternoon there will be an egg toss, along with the band Sentimental Journey performing as well as awards being handed out this evening. There are craft and food vendors on Main Street as well as a host of garage sales going on throughout town.

The parade had a nice crowd as kids lined the route with bags to catch all the candy thrown by emergency personnel and other participants in this year’s parade.
