Mary E. Martin, 70, Plymouth, died Friday, May 26, 2017 in the Miller’s Merry Manor of Plymouth, with her loving family by her side.

Mary was born on July 14, 1946 in Mishawka to Robert and Helen I. (Rogers) Stick. Mary was a graduate of West High School, she was a lifetime resident of the area. She retired from bookkeeping for Reese Equipment and Bane Welker Farm Equipment. Mary was a member of the Walnut Church of the Brethren in Argos.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Kris Snyder of Plymouth, Kandi and Ed Matthews of Plymouth, Katie Marin of Durham, N.C.; her son, Zach Martin of Elkhart; her eight grandchildren, Kyle Matthews, Cassandra Matthews, Phoenix Martin, Tyler Snyder, Kadena Martin, Trenton Snyder Karter Reed and Kaeli Reed; great-grandchild, Maddison Matthews; her brother, Michael and Carol Stick of Plymouth; Mary is preceded in passing by her parents, her brother, David McDaniel, and her son-in-law, Christian Snyder.

The Van Gilder Funeral Home is caring for the Martin family. According to Mary’s wishes, her cremated remains will be laid to rest with her parents in the New Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Robert Rice officiating, at a later date.
