CULVER – An outstanding season for the Triton No. 1 doubles duo of Emma Ross and Hannah Wanemacher came to an end Friday night.

The Trojan pair lost to Rachael Dodson and Harshita Sangaraju of Culver Academies in the sectional title match at Culver Academies. The CMA team topped Ross and Wvnemacher 6-1, 7-5 in the individual portion of the state tournament series for No. 1 doubles teams.

Ross and Wanemacher end their season at 15-2.

The Culver Academies team improves to 17-4 and advance to the LaPorte Regional on June 3.
