Mother Nature had her way once again Friday night with some of the high school state tournament action around the area.

The Warsaw-Elkhart Central sectional baseball game at Elkhart Memorial was postponed by rain. The game is now slated for noon on Saturday. Penn will then play Goshen in the first semifinal with the Warsaw-Central winner then facing host Memorial in the second semifinal game Saturday.

The final of the Elkhart Central Softball Sectional was suspended in the top of the sixth inning. Northridge leads Goshen 1-0 in that contest, which is scheduled to resume at Central at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
