Heavy rain on Wednesday forced the hand of the officials governing the NorthWood Baseball Sectional.

An unplayable field at NorthWood is forcing Thursday’s games to be moved.

Wednesday’s rained out opener – Tippecanoe Valley v. West Noble – is slated to be played today at Wawasee with a 5 p.m. start.

Today’s scheduled game – Fairfield v. Lakeland – is slated to be played today at Westview which will follow the Eastside v. Westview game that begins at 5:30 p.m.

If field conditions improve at NorthWood, play will resume as usual Saturday, with today’s winners meeting at 11 a.m. and NorthWood and Wawasee facing off at 1 p.m. The NorthWood championship is scheduled for Monday at 11 a.m.
