Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

1:45 a.m. Saturday, May 20, East CR 350N and North CR 100E, Warsaw. Driver: Kassandra D. Roberts, 23, East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. As Kassandra was traveling on East CR 350N, she left the roadway drove into a ditch. Damage up to $2,500.

9:33 a.m. Saturday, May 20, North SR 13 and East Vawter Park Road, Syracuse. Drivers: Lucas N. Hunter, 20, West SR 120, Shipshewana, and Joshua M. Tucco, East Sleepy Hollow Parkway, Cromwell. Hunter rear-ended Tucco. Damage up to $10,000.

2:52 p.m. Saturday, May 20, South SR 15, Silver Lake. Driver: Jennifer L. Lauro, 42, Rosewood Drive, Peru. Lauro struck a deer. Damage up to $2,500.

3:26 p.m. Saturday, May 20, South CR 800W, Akron. Driver: Trisha M. Prater, 34, South CR 800W, Akron. A deer struck the side of Prater’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

8:40 p.m. Saturday, May 20, West SR 14, Silver Lake. Driver: Daniel J. Triesch, 43, South County Farm Road, Silver Lake. Triesch was traveling eastbound on SR 14 when his vehicle left the roadway. He was unable to pull the vehicle back onto the roadway before striking a utility pole. Damage up to $25,000.

7 a.m. Sunday, May 21, West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Driver: Kara S. Edwards, 30, East CR 575N, Leesburg. Edwards struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000.

7:29 a.m. Sunday, May 21, North SR 15. Driver: Austin J. Bickel, 20, North Lake Street, Syracuse. As Bickel was driving northbound on SR 15, his vehicle left the roadway, spun 180 degrees and drove into a small ditch on the side of the road. Damage up to $5,000.

10:52 p.m. Sunday, May 21, East CR 1120N, Syracuse. Driver: Ronald B. Bame, 46, East CR 1120N, Syracuse. As Bame as going around a curve on East CR 1120N, he began to press on his brakes but they would not work. His vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree and the vehicle flipped. No injuries were reported. Damage up to $25,000.

North Webster

Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:

9:46 a.m. Sunday, May 21, East Huntington Street, North Webster. Driver: Charles C. Harris, 50, North Birdie Court, Syracuse. Harris hit a stop sign as he pulled a barge out. Damage up to $2,500.
