Jury selection for a three-day trial of a North Manchester man facing 27 felonies got underway at 10 a.m. today in Kosciusko County Superior Court I.

Bill Warren, 38, has been charged with 27 felonies including criminal confinement, strangulation, sexual battery, battery resulting in serious injury to a person under the age of 14, intimidation, theft and resisting law enforcement. (See related story)

The initial 12-member jury of 7 men and 5 women was seated at 3:35 p.m. Two alternate jurors have also been selected.

Warren is being represented by Alan J. Zimmerman. The trial is set for today through Thursday.

The jury pool consisted of 42 candidates.
