NorthWood Basketball: Zurcher Headed To Quincy
NAPPANEE – NorthWood High School senior Luke Zurcher announced Friday that he plans to play basketball at Quincy (Illinois) University.
Zurcher, a 6-3 guard, averaged 14.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game his senior season for coach Aaron Wolfe’s Panthers. He also hit 45-101 from 3-point range during the 2016-17 season as NorthWood went 21-3.
Zurcher was a two-year starter for the Panthers and averaged 7.8 points-per-game as a junior. NorthWood finished 24-3 his junior season, which ended with a loss in a Class 3-A regional game.
Quincy, which is an NCAA Division II program, went 25-7 this past season. They were 14-4 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play to win the West Division championship.
