The Whitko girls tennis team rolled to a 5-0 win over Peru Thursday night.

The Wildcats took all five varsity matches in straight sets to earn the Three Rivers Conference victory.

Morgan Keirn led the way for Whitko with a 6-1, 6-3 win at the No. 1 singles spot.

The duo of Delaney Keirn and Jackie Werstler completed the singles sweep for the Wildcats. Keirn won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 and Werstler posted a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 3.

The Wildcats also rolled in doubles play with Gracie and Jessica Hook winning 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 and the team of Jenna VanCuren and Manon Sonneville winning 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2.

Winning in junior varsity play were Natalie Iholtz, Blair Creamer and Kayla Schipper.

Whitko, which improves to 5-2 in conference play, will host Rochester Friday in its final TRC match of the season at 5 p.m.
