Baseball
The Panthers kept up its winning ways, diming Bethany Christian 10-0 Tuesday evening.
Weston Kamp was the winning pitcher for NorthWood, and had plenty of offensive help.
Vincent Herschberger was 2-for-2 at the plate with a double and four runs driven in to lead the Panthers, Brant Mast adding a homer and three RBIs.
NorthWood moves to 17-1 overall with a tilt Wednesday at Warsaw in Northern Lakes Conference play.
Softball
Alexis Klotz had another good outing in the circle, firing a two-hitter at Bethany Christian in an 18-1 romp Tuesday evening.
Klotz allowed just two hits and two walks in the five-inning complete game, losing the shutout in the fifth inning.
Klotz was among the offensive heroes for the Lady Panthers in bombing a homer, a double and driving in three. Summer Stillson’s bat stayed red hot with a hit and three runs driven in and Amanda Jenkins had three hits and a pair of RBIs.
NorthWood improves to 9-11 overall and will host Warsaw Wednesday in NLC action.
