On Dec. 23, 1940, Carol was born in Shawnee, Ill. to  Arvid and Ebba Johnson.

Carol is survived by a daughter, Anita Lewis, of Rochester; and two grandchildren: Mya Lewis and Dyllan Yeargi

Preceding Carol in death are her parents and husband.

Private family services will be held.
